Simple Science is a high-growth experiential agency based in Orange County, CA with a focus on creating inspiring experiences that motivate audiences. We are seeking a passionate and talented Associate Creative Director to join our team in our Costa Mesa office. If you're a design-savvy storyteller with a knack for bringing big ideas to life through events, marketing and advertising, we want to hear from you. This is an opportunity to push creative boundaries and shape the future of experiential marketing.

Reporting to the Creative Director, this is an associate level position. You will play a pivotal role in the ideation, development, project management and execution of projects. You are a natural leader and a team player, ready to both produce and provide visual direction, while collaborating seamlessly with our strategy and production teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conceptualize and develop inspiring creative themes, concepts and solutions for a diverse range of events and campaigns.
• Project Manage a wide range of Creative Services deliverables and tasks.
• Source solutions and vendors for creative productions. Manage vendors from contracting through delivery.
• Provide creative ideas, direction and feedback, both from a design and messaging perspective.
• Support creative projects from initial brainstorm through to final execution, ensuring the highest level of quality and innovation.
• Articulate and present creative concepts and designs to both internal teams and clients with passion and clarity.
• Collaborate with strategy, account, and production teams to ensure creative solutions are on-brand, on-budget, and on-strategy.
• Maintain and elevate the agency's creative standards, pushing for work that is both original and effective.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and cultural moments to keep our work fresh and relevant.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• A Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related creative field.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in a design or creative role, preferably within an agency setting.
• A killer portfolio that showcases your design background, conceptual thinking, and a passion for experiential work.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; you can sell an idea with confidence and charm.
• Expert experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• A collaborative spirit and a desire to make cool stuff with cool people.
• Organized and highly attentive to detail.
• Self-starter, motivated to produce excellent results in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive and happy demeanor, willing to learn, work hard and grow.
