Attention to detail and completing daily paperwork are essential parts of this role. Candidates must be able to manage and maintain AR accounts.

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational efficiency. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
  • Ensure high standards of guest relations and satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate reporting of financial transactions.
  • Implement and maintain hotel policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and develop hotel staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability and sustainability of the hotel.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel's services and amenities effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of guest services, guest relations, and hospitality best practices.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and reservation management software.
  • Excellent phone etiquette with strong communication skills.
  • Bilingual abilities are preferred to cater to diverse guests.
  • Experience with night audit processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
