Job Description

Diamond Cellar is a family-owned company with deep roots in Central Ohio and a proud legacy of excellence. With locations in Columbus, Nashville, and Tulsa, we are one of the largest independent jewelry companies in the United States, representing some of the world’s most iconic and sought-after brands. Our commitment to craftsmanship, customer service, and an exceptional shopping experience has built a loyal community—both with our clients and our team, many of whom have been with us for decades.

We’re currently seeking a talented, full-time Photographer to join our in-house Marketing team in Columbus, Ohio. This on-site position offers the opportunity to bring our luxury products to life through visually compelling photography and videography. From capturing the brilliance of a diamond to the intricate mechanics of a timepiece, your work will play a key role in expressing the elegance and quality that define the Diamond Cellar brand.

We’re looking for a creative, detail-driven visual storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited by the idea of producing high-end content that reaches thousands of customers across digital, print, and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Lifestyle Photography / Video

  • Capture technically accurate, high-resolution images of jewelry and watches for use across marketing channels.
  • Photograph products on model, in styled lifestyle settings, and as flat lays.
  • Apply expert-level knowledge of lighting, composition, angles, and product styling to ensure visual consistency with brand standards.

Image Editing & Retouching

  • Retouch and color-correct images to ensure accuracy, clarity, and polish while maintaining the product’s authenticity.
  • Resize and format imagery for use across platforms including e-commerce, social media, email, and print.
  • Maintain consistent visual quality and aesthetics across all assets.

Photoshoot Coordination & Execution

  • Assist in planning and organizing photo and video shoots including timelines, locations, set styling, and model coordination.
  • Ensure all equipment and props are ready and in working order prior to each shoot.
  • Support with on-set styling, lighting, and troubleshooting during shoots.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute seasonal campaigns and large-scale editorial shoots.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Marketing, E-Commerce, and Creative teams to understand visual goals and deliver assets that align with campaign objectives.
  • Offer creative input and assist in concept development for new and ongoing projects.

Product Knowledge

  • Build a strong understanding of our luxury products and brand partners in order to showcase their craftsmanship and unique details through photography.

Quality Control

  • Evaluate all imagery to ensure it meets our quality standards before publishing or delivery.
  • Organize and manage a well-labeled, searchable image archive.

Time & Project Management

  • Balance multiple photography projects and deadlines simultaneously, keeping team priorities and schedules in mind.
  • Adapt to last-minute requests and shifts in project scope with professionalism and efficiency.

Professional Development

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, photography styles, and equipment.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table and seek opportunities to continuously elevate the quality of your work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or equivalent professional experience
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency and creative vision
  • Expert knowledge of professional photography equipment and editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, etc.)
  • Excellent grasp of studio and natural lighting, color theory, and visual storytelling
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for producing polished, high-quality work
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and creative teams
  • Experience with luxury products, e-commerce, or editorial photography is a plus
